Guess I'm more of a unlimited kind of person. I need that extra space for extra passengers and luggage. Gotta get that hard top too, keep that warmth inside during winter time.

I think the JL will be getting an optional large moonroof, so I won't need to fold back a soft top for some natural light inside the car.

Mopar will definitely have a large range of parts for the Wrangler, there's just too much money to be made with Wranglers especially with the amount of Jeep owners out there who likes to wrench. Maybe we'll be a bit lacking at the initial release of the Wrangler JL, but the aftermarket will catch up.

If you want a Wrangler for mainly off road fun, then the two door is for you. A four door is more of a daily universal drier that can handle the odd off the beaten path trip.

They have accessory design teams just for Wranglers and those guys run around the clock lol. The aftermarket may not be there right away but give it 2 months tops, and parts will start being pushed out. Anyone know if they'll be running the same 7inch headlights and 4 inch fogs ?

what they need to do is take a page out of what Nissan allowed and that was for an exclusive measuring time frame for aftermarket to get the ball rolling. Aside from that its going to be a slow process of waiting for real owners to donate their vehicle or the parts maker to buy one entirely.

Not sure about the fogs, but the Wrangler sneak peek we had shows us the same round headlights as before. Maybe the size hasn't changed either.

There's always the option of aftermarket fogs and fortunately being a wrangler there's more freedom to place them in obvious places. Completely different from say a Honda Accord where you'll want an OEM look.

What i get from the spy shots is factory fogs will run a regular halogen, if that's the case i'm retrofitting it with projectors.

Fog lights aren't really a concern as most people don't use it that often. What I'm looking into is the headlights. Debating if I should leave them as halogen since the heat created by them would be helpful in defrosting the lights during the winter months. But the JL is expected to come with LEDs as an option.

I'm not really concerned with the lights freezing over. I'll be going with full LED headlights and fog lights specifically for extra added visibility and reliability. That, and as a bonus they look amazing lol. Not too sure if I'll take the optional ones or just go aftermarket though.

it will just take a bit longer to defrost, not something i'm concerned about especially since I mostly park indoors. So with heat up time and my initial 10+ minutes on the road, engine heat has already spread to the front end.

There are definitely better ones on the market. But "better" is different to a lot of people. Some people want extremely bright - blindingly bright, some people want more focused beams, some want lights with flood lights as well, etc.
