I am interested in finding out a little more info about possible maintenance issues on this model. It currently has 24,ooo miles. I am interested in purchasing this model but want to know what maintenance is like on these types of vehicles and if there is anything I should be aware of for the future. I intend to take it off roading or just on high mountain roads with lots of boulders and large rocks and possible desert riding such as Moab, UT. Anything you can tell me about would be helpful.
Are these vehicles easy to maintain or do they require jeep trained mechanics? Are they expensive to maintain? I have been told that these year models are prone to an expensive oil leak. Does anyone have any knowledge of this?
