So I have a 2018 Wrangler sport JL and want to upgrade my tires from 245 70 17 to 265 70 17 and was wondering if I need to add spacers or a lift kit for the tires not to rub in or around anything?
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your JL. You should be able to fit up to 33's without any rubbing. The tires you are looking at are in between 31-32''
Some people are reporting rubbing issues and others aren't.
Along with advice from owners I suggest you contact wheel and tire shops that have serviced JL's.
Congrats on your Wrangler and welcome to the community. I believe it is only the Rubicon that can accommodate 33's with no kind of lift kit. Wouldn't be too pricey to go up by an inch or so.
