I saw a posting on another forum about additional colors that will be available for the JL, and wanted to share. If you look at the Mopar Parts display at SEMA, it gives a clue to a few of the new colors.

Punk'n Metallic Clear Coat might be the color of the Jeep on the front of the leaked 2018 JL Owners manual.

Other than classic Billet Silver Metallic Clear Coat for my next Wrangler I would consider Sting-Grey probably. Do you guys have an idea of Punk'n Metallic Clear Coat?

My preference in Jeep colors has always been green with black top and interior with the exception of my CJ-7 I purchased from a buddy to help him out. This model will be no different except when I went to build and price the process will not allow for Mojito Green with black soft top and black interior. It defaults to Tan. I reached out to Jeep customer service's "Emily" and asked her to pass my issue up the chain of command. I don't see it having any effective outcome, but I figured I can't complain unless I let Jeep know my preferences. Who knows, maybe they'll let me custom order Interestingly enough, the build program lets you put together the color / top / interior of your choice, but when you actually select the top later on it "conflicts" and forces a tan color on your design.

I will keep it simple and go for black but what I plan on doing is experimenting with vinyl wraps since there's a wealth of colors to choose from.
