If you haven't heard about this you will soon. An Australian Jeep Grand Cherokee owner actually created a music video after being told by his dealership to bugger off.

Not surprised if what he says is actually true. His 2013 Grand Cherokee has been towed several times along with a slew of other issues like having the car pull to the left.

Maybe FCA will take note and improve their customer service because Jeep is one of the largest money makers.

Let's hope the first batch Wrangler JL's doesn't turn out to be a batch of lemons.

In the past this has proven to be a winning strategy. There was that one guy with a Kia Soul that made a video which went viral... taking on the sort of momentum this one has so far. He'll get what fair coming to him, can't wait to see that positive outcome.

That's the textbook approach with companies, being very open about those exchanges might backfire on them. Seen this recently with UPS, all we'll end up hearing about is the end result whether that be good or bad.

But with the attention on them, giving the guy what he wants is the easiest way for them to end it.

Often I feel like companies do nothing unless their sales are being affected. We know that Jeep has poor quality ratings but people don't seem to care and consequently Jeep doesn't either. I think the same thing applies here. Unless this affects sales, it won't matter.

That's the way i've always understood it to be and it makes sense , they need to make profit and cut losses, no point putting more into it when you don't absolutely need to.

Usually those consistent imporvements happen high up the food chain.

I'm having second thoughts about Jeep after reading a few more comments from other people. Maybe I'll wait a year or two after the initial release so all the bugs are worked out before buying a jeep.

That's just about the best thing to do, unless you're confident in a dealer or dealers around you, but from experience, that isn't common at all.

i remember when the Q3 was first coming out and they were lucky to get in early on the luxury CUV trend with a solid product. But the coming years will be a real test with how many rivals have come online, already Lexus has passed MB in U.S. sales.
