Chelsea Truck Company has created the CJ300 Black Hawk Edition based off of a 2.8 Diesel Wrangler Sahara. Only 50 will be built and they start at about $77k

So many changes, it's really difficult to list it off. Basically, A new front end including lights, front and rear wings have been widened, mirrors, exhaust, even the fuel cap has been changed. New wheels and "liquid-gold" gold painted calipers.

Kahn Power Upgrade for the Ecu for better power, enhanced fuel economy, and improved response/delivery.

The interior is something on its own that's better left for you to observe. Not too sure how I feel about it though.

Check it out and share your thoughts ! Who would buy one ?!

Full LED tail lights would look really good in this application. It would flow perfectly. Include some full LED markers on the bottom and you'd be good to go. Those wheels are really nice though. Carries the luxury feel.

I agree and it's funny that out of everything they did LED tails were left out, in my opinion its one of the last pieces to really complete the look. The wider fenders make up for it however since I'm a big Land Cruiser and Land Rover fan, these fenders bring it close to that level of ruggedness

I used to find a lot of people went for the LED tails first as they were so easy to change and so achievable. Wonder why they skipped out on this one. Would've completed it I think.

I do like the interior though. It's not for everyone but I love it.

Think Kahn Design will come out with a power upgrade for the new JL? That's the only worthwhile upgrade from the Black Hawk edition.
ECU tunes should be it and there's no way they can pass up on that opportunity since it's easy to push. When it comes to performance mods its what everyone and their mother goes after. Plus they're already into the business of remapping. Smart way to deploy themselves.

Someone will probably need to lend them a Wrangler for product development, take one for the team and maybe get a discounted tune along the way.

Does anyone else find it odd that they added an extra bump above the front and rear wheel flares? I can see the use of them if they open, storage for extra tools and whatnot. but they look tightly bolted on.

If Jeep is smart they will give some to aftermarket companies so the ball can get rolling before owners take delivery. Often publications get these months before owners, during that time some might get sent to other vital players.

I think the extra bumps up are just to give it a larger, more aggressive stance on the kit itself. Would be great if they were able to be used as storage compartments but I highly doubt it. These kits are typically just purely aesthetic. They could've even vented the rear over fenders from the back, would be kinda cool to see one of these going through the dunes and sand from the wheels blowing through the flares.
