From previous experience I knew I would not go bigger than 35" tires so I really didn't want to add a lot of height to the Jeep. I think you could comfortably run 315/70/17 on a stock Rubicon but I like a little space in the wheel well not having to worry about rubbing off road.
I settled on the Clayton 1 1/2 inch springs and adding the Fox 2.0 shocks. I replaced the stock front and rear track bars with Metalcloak adjustable track bars. Worked out really well, could have bought the Clayton kit but saved a bit of money by building my on set up.
