Toyota, Lexus and Jeep Wrangler Shine for Resale - AutotraderAccording to Kelley Blue Book, the Jeep Wrangler is projected to retain an outstanding 68 percent of its value over three years of ownership and 55 percent over five years. That easily sent it to the head of KBB's newest top ten list, which named the best 2012 models for resale value based on projected depreciation.
wrangler always enjoys a big second hand market...many people buy exclusively second hand...You just wouldn't want to sell it right after the JL goes on sale, waiting out for the hype to die down will help. Ultimately selling before is a good thing, while the market a slightly favored to a decent return on what you spent.
Save money, use as a platform to modify since at that point its probably off warranty, etc.Why buy exclusively second hand?
