So the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL finally debuted in Europe, which got me thinking about the continent's emission standards. The Wrangler isn't the most fuel efficient vehicle out there, but they still need to meet Euro emission standards if Jeep wants to offer it in that market. Will the Euro spec Wrangles have different exhaust systems or engines tuned for fuel efficiency?

NOt sure if anything was really changed to meet Euro6 standards because the new Wranglers all produce less nitrogen oxide (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (THC and NMHC) and particulate matter (PM), than the Euro6 limit. So we probably won't see any changes between the NA spec and Euro spec Wranglers.

I wonder with all the rumours of diesel being banned in Europe, what that will mean for JL models in the UK. I know that they already receive far less options than we get in North America, and atm I don't think they even have a manual option.
