Half doors back for 2021?

With Ford finally unveilling the new B-word with frameless doors on 2 and 4 door models what chance Jeep finally delivering on the factory half doors for the JL and JLU? Jeep have shown yet another concept (henceforth YAC) with half doors yet somehow they do not appear as factory options. Half doors with removable cloth effect rigid uppers (and [power] half sliding windows) should be an absolute no brainer for Jeep. Maybe some competition on the horizon might stir them into action. Anyone got any inside information or good reasons why not? Why are half doors okay for YACs and model previews, but never actually open up as factory order options?
