Jeep confirms Moab Edition

It looks like those early spy shots of a Moab Wrangler were indeed accurate. FCA has officially announced a more extreme Sahara-based model with improved off road behavior. It comes with 32' much terrain tires, a Rubicon hood, off road rock rails and steel bumpers with removable end caps. Other noteworthy standard features include:

-Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system with a two-speed transfer case
-Trac-Lok limited-slip rear differential
-LED headlights and taillights
-Low gloss black headlight surrounds
-Grille throats and tow hooks
-Body color hardtop, as well as dual top or sky one touch available
-For no extra cost you can also get Sahara side steps
-Available in 9 colors: Granite Crystal, Billet Silver, Punk’n Metallic, Mojito!, Black, Bright White, Sting Gray, Ocean Blue Metallic and Firecracker Red.

Pricing hasn't been confirmed but a leaked ordering guide suggest it'll go for $10k over the bas price of the 4 door Sahara, which translates to $51k before options.

Personally I think this is a bit of an injustice to the name. They would have been better off just calling it an overlander trim or something. No rear lockers AND it starts at $53k? Suppose it'll be decent at climbing curbs in parking lots.
I configured my JLU Rubicon and with all options that I want, it comes to US$54,740.00... so why in the world would I go for a Moab???

Priced a bit aggressively for what's included. I agree that the name is a bit misleading as this model isn't really rock crawler spec. Really just seems like they put a sticker on the hood and threw on some mopar parts.
