Does anyone have recommendations for a JL bike rack? I have a Thule hitch mounted bike rack I used on my Cherokee..but it won't clear at the spare tire. I do prefer hitch mounted but open to whatever works.

Most hitch mounted bike racks will work on the JL with an extension. Two options worth looking into are the 1up and KuatNV.

I found an extension for my Allen bike rack to get it past the spare tire - it looks like the “best” one as it provides multiple length adjustments. Just search Amazon.

Thx for your post recommending the bike carrier. Does 1-up hitch mount rack interfere with the back-up camera on your JLU? Is your Jeep running stock sized wheels and tires?

Seeing your JL with inches lifted, you dont want to consider roof fork-mount bike rack. Hitch type is good, will suggest Thule Trailway Hitch Mount 2-Bike Rack. (Consider what kind of bike are you using: Fat bike, MTB, road bike)

I've been a user of Thule rack. Using this for almost a year now. But would there be a way for me to attach another 2 bikes on top or would attaching it on the trunk be better because of the weight? Using a Thule Circuit 526 https://www.jeepsareus.com/sku/tcfkm526ab.html.
