What are you hoping Jeep improves (or offers as a new feature) for the JL generation?

Headlights are something that immediately comes to mind for me. I'm hoping Jeep will offer full LED headlights and taillights.

I'm really hoping for a diesel motor as well.

Diesel is one thing i'm quite confident in that they'll add especially with how FCA has been utilizing diesel power plants so far. If they do just that it will help to get a lot of eyeballs on the JL.
Heard a rumor spreading around that the Wrangler JL roof won't just be the old soft or permanent top. We could be seeing a power soft top, hardtop glass panel and a 3-piece hardtop.

Which top would you guys like to see on your Wrangler or will you stick with the traditional options?
Diesel is number 1 for me. Hands down. I really hoping its the same setup as the EcoDiesel in the GC and Ram 1500s.

Also half doors no matter the trim

Finally and this wont happen but an unlimited two door option. I would like to have that as an order option but that wont happen.

With all that i have been hearing and seeing as of recent, it seems like what was done to the Renegade, will be done to the JL, but a bit upscale maybe?

Yes I agree it is sounding that way right now. I hope not, I don't want to lose the convertible feel.
Another one for the wishlist... Renegade style tail lights that actually look like they belong on the JL wrangler and if the following shot is any good reference, it seems they at least have proportions right, can't wait to see the rest of it:

My lighting guy actually has full LED replacements for the headlights and fog lights. Ridiculously bright but quite a hefty price tag as well.

Isn't there some Mopar set out we can get? That will be a good route for anyone wanting to go the off the shelf route.

But i'll be interested in seeing custom setups, i'm sure someone on retrofit source has done something that will stand out.
Wouldn't doubt it, I've seen those guys produce some crazy stuff :|

As long as the panels are large enough to give the convertible feel. I think this option... it'll sell well.

If it's narrow and not pano-style, as pictured on the other model, it will not sell well to the wrangler crowd.
Agree, it needs to be a large enough opening that lets in enough light and air flow for it to feel natural. If they're tiny, people are gonna skip over that.
Well given how wide these panels are and how much of the roof they take up overall it will be just about as best as anything like this can get, and at the moment better than what else is on the market.

It will be more of a bonus, many more important motivations happening around Jeep to make people want one.
They've always been super wide. Once they're not going to make some sort of change to include more "framing". I'm sure there's really nothing to worry about..

The Renegade (picture above) is tiny, so smaller "sun-roof" panels would make sense on that scale I guess ?
Unless because the Wrangler is wider it will come off like a T top. That to me makes it easy for just about anyone to open the roof up without needing help from anyone. Ultimately it should be a one man (or women) operation
It has to be made for a one person operation to get it on and off. There's no way they can make it so that you need 2 people lol. But a T Top configuration would be nice. Speakers coming down the center bar.
I don't think we'll be seeing the renegade like top. Thought it was reported a while back that the JL will be coming with a true 3-piece hardtop, hardtop glass panel, and a power soft top?

I wouldn't mind having the heavy-duty suspension system from the Sahara unlimited come as standard in the sport trims. But I doubt that's going to happen with the Wrangler JL.
