I wouldn't mind using that engine or a newer version of it in some older Toyota. Maybe a 70's Celica pushing a 3UZ? I wouldn't mind going 2UR... should be enough of those engines around.

Aren't those engines old? Think they stopped producing them in 94. Will any other UZFE engine be compatible with a Wrangler?
I mean, I'm pretty sure they're not "compatible" but ... with the right amount of work and fabrication, you can really make anything fit. If you can put an LS motor in a FRS, anything is possible.
