Literally the best thing about the new JL

They changed the upper mount on the front shocks to a bolt instead of a stem. Anyone with a JK knows the pain.

There might be others...just saying.

I'm new to the Wrangler scene so the check mounts are new to me. What was wrong with the old Stem mount compared to the newer Bolt one? Was it a weaker mounting point causing something to break?
Finally no more need to consider getting a stem eliminator, now that will just be for owners of JL and older generations.
I think the upgrade to the uconnect is the best thing. No more waiting until the end of the incoming call announcement is over before I can answer the call.
Being this is my first Wrangle, For me the gas mileage is better than I thought it was going to be.
Try saying that after you've installed a lift kit and some larger wheels aha. Luckily those who opt for the Rubicon probably wont see the need for a lift.

Our jl rubicon is on order
2" lift with 35 km2
He stands corrected. Are you planning to get larger wheels too since yours is lifted a bit?
I thought the JL Rubi could fit 35' tires without any lift kit? Guess that wouldn't allow for much clearance though, and could result in some tire rubbing with sharp turns.

Just wait till they drop a hybrid in these :D
I think it could be awhile until we see a full hybrid system in a Wrangler, but they could probably implement one of the mild systems fairly easily. It would basically just swap out the alternator for a more powerful electric engine.
