Loose steering

With more and more people buying into the new Wrangler, complaints around steering issues are becoming more widespread. Loose steering is actually the most common NHTSA complaints on the JL so far, and dealers have yet been able to determine the cause or a fix. FCA has yet to issue a recall for the problem, as the complaints still represent a small fraction of all the models currently on the road. Anyone here experienced more play than usual in the steering wheel?

I have been hearing mentions of this, but I wonder how many of these complaints are from new Wrangler owners. To be honest this sort of setup is fairly typical for a Wrangler, and we've heard the same sort of opinion on the steering since the TJ.

It would be helpful if owners with this issue can report their build date as that will help in further identifying which batches this issue is exclusive to. Either that or FCA needs to put out more details. Good thing I always try to avoid anything produced in the first 6-8 months of initial production!
