Just wanted to share this video I came across that features an install of a new axel back Magnaflow exhaust for the JL. It sounds a lot better than the stock system imo, and early reports suggest a MSRP of around $500. Looks like the install is incredible simple. This kit seems to be exclusive for the 3.6l Pentastar V6.
Is it odd that I like how the Magnaflow Tips sounds in the cabin more than the exterior noise? Would like a deeper sound but this is still a lot better than those high pitched exhausts.
That's actually a pretty decent improvement in the sound, considering its only an axel back system. I do think it might be worthwhile to spend a little more on a proper cat back exhaust though. Does sound like there is a fair bit of drone from inside the cabin as well.
