Mopar is ready for the new 2018 Wrangler with a lineup of over 200 parts and accessories. Now we learn that not only did Mopar show off their wall of parts, the company actually brought two customized Wranglers to the Los Angeles Auto Show.
A few modifications on the Unlimited Wrangler may look familiar to some. There’s a set of open-air doors for optimum breeze penetration whilst keeping you safe with its two-inch tubular steel construction. Also noticeable is the large, in-house developed snorkel, which is a first for Jeep and it works in concert with a Mopar cold-air intake.
Of course who can forget the lift kit, something that Jeep MOPAR boss Todd Beddick told
CarsGuide every off-road vehicle starts with. Here it’s a 2-inch kit featuring 2.5-inch FOX shocks that were tuned specifically by Jeep Performance, and a set of 17-inch aluminum beadlock wheels.
The front a unique Rubicon steel bumper with the side wings removed for more clearance and mounted onto said bumper is a water-resistant Mopar Warn winch kit, winch guard, and a set of LED off-road lights that puts out more than 8,000 lumen each.
That’s not even the full list of parts on the Unlimited and the two door Mopar model has a lot of offer as well on top of the bespoke graphics. All of this and more will be available to Wrangler JL buyers as soon as the vehicles themselves hit showroom floors.
