Just came across this article which previews a bunch of new products coming to the JL. It includes new lighting systems, a cargo top for the tailgate, lockboxes, PRP seats, Highrock bumpers and a new soft top. A bunch of them are accompanied by youtube demonstration clips.
I've gotten PPR seats in the past, and I have to admit that they are worth every penny. Build quality is top notch and their are highly customizable. Great to see that we're already getting alternative top options as well. Bestop makes the OEM soft tops if i recall correctly.
I was wondering what sort of lighting systems we would see, since the A pillar mounts are gone on the JL. I'll be keeping on eye on more products coming from Tuffy Security as well, as the new deck enclosure and lockboxes look great.
Mopar of all OEM accessories brands has a chance here to do what most other car makers can't. They already proved it with the JK.
Sales held strong right till production ended. Plus it can play into FCA's future tuning culture as they release more interesting products.
With the improvements that have been made to the stock models in recent years, we're seeing a lot more of aesthetic mods early on. With the pricing continuing to rise with each new generation, there's less and less money for owners to spend on mods.
