Hi everyone just joined the forum. Currently driving a JK but my JL is on order and due at the end of April. I have owned several Wranglers over the years beginning with a CJ7, YJ, TJ and my current JK. As with any new Jeep now I have to decide on lift, tires, wheels, etc, hoping to share experiences with other members. Can't wait for the JL.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new JL! Which trim did you end up going with? The Rubi can run 33' tires on the stock set up. You plan on keeping the JK as well?
I ordered the JLRU in Firecracker Red. Plan on running 37" Pro Comp all terrains. Will do a 2.5 inch Rough Country spacer lift until AEV comes out with their lift kit. The JK is being used as a trade in.

Congrats on the order and welcome to the community! What mods have you made to your current JK? I wonder if there were be any compatibility for parts between the two.
The JK sits on a AEV 3.5 inch lift with 35" BFG all terrains. It has Rock Hard front bumper, Smitty Built Gen2 rear bumper, warn winch, Tom Woods front and rear drive shafts, heavy duty diff covers, Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks and a few other minor mods. Not much can be carried over from the JK to the JL. The bumpers won't fit, the front shocks mount differently and the control arms are different. The only items I am taking off the JK are the winch, on board air system and the CB radio. I hate to go through the rebuilding process again but when I took the JL for a test drive I fell in love with it and the dealer gave me a discount plus a great trade in, so it was a no brainer.

37" is pretty serious. Going to be pretty similar to the crazy builds we saw at this years MOAB. Looking forward to seeing your build, once its all said and done. Do you find there to be a noticeable change in fuel economy once its lifted?
