Hi all, Just bought a 2018 JLU Sport. I've only had it 5 days. Not only that, this is my first Wrangler ever. And I'm lovin it.

Welcome to the forum Frosty, congrats on your first Wrangler. What prompted the switch? Bet you cant wait for spring to arrive aha.

I've wanted a Wrangler for a long time, but finances wouldn't allow it. But things came together and I am happy....and that's a yes to spring.

Were you comparing it to any other SUV's before buying or what?

Nope, I wanted the Wrangler, I didn't even test drive it. I walked into the dealership and said, I want that one..

What prompted the switch to Jeep? Was the Wrangler something you've just always had an interest in. I know there have been a host of improvements on the JL over the JK, so its a better time than ever to buy in.

Yes, I have always wanted one. I have owned a couple of late 80's XJ's and an early 90's WJ. Wheeled them hard.
I bought a YJ that had been sitting for about 8 years, but never got it on the road.
I tried last year to buy a new JK, but couldn't make the payments work.
Probably for the best, this JL is pretty sweet.
