Love this Jeep ad, with how straight to the point it is. Just a Wrangler doing what it was designed to do, go over terrain no other car would dare.

Though my personal favorite is this one, which hearkens back to the first Jurassic park movie where the Wrangler was used. Maybe painting the new Wrangler to look like the Jurassic park one will be my bucket list.

I remember seeing the old TJ models that had been converted to match the Jeeps in the original Jurassic Park, don't think we will see anyone going that route on the new JL however. And I love the simplicity of the first ad, and its great to see Jeep recognizing the proof is in the pudding.

There's actually quite a few people out there passionate about Jeeps role in the move and would likely carry it onto the JL. Don't forget that this is still a very attainable SUV which is a big reason why it should still happen.

But the new Jeeps have been completely redesigned from what was in the original movies. And from what I remember about the new films is the only model we see is the original. But you're probably right that some people will always see the two connected. Already found someone who's made a version of their own.

It may not look exactly the same as the original Wrangler used in Jurassic movies, but that's still a great way to pay homes to both your love of Jeeps and a great movie. If nothing else, I'll add a few stripes and that logo to the side. Plasti dip and decal installation shouldn't be too hard.

You don't need the original to carry on the theme, if that was the case then a lot of remakes wouldn't happen. If that was the case then maybe FCA should stop producing the sort of colors and trims they used to from decades ago.

in addition they don't always have to launch it as a Jurassic version but instead as some adventure model with inspiration from the movie. Many angles to play it.

One more reason to go for the new Wrangler is this amazing reenactment of the T-Rex chase! May not be perfect and you can definitely do this with other cars, but this just embodies what the Jeep Wrangler is. A car for shenanigans. The Drive says it's a T-Rex on skis being towed down a Michigan street to the Jurassic Park theme.

Not sure if you guys saw, but there's been a backlash to that first Jeep ad online. Apparently there are some environmentalists who are upset that Jeep seemed to encourage driving off road, as it can negatively impact/kill various wildlife. There is a disclaimer in the ad indicating the stream was man made, but they seem to think that the damage has already been done. Never would have expected such a response from such a short and simple advertisement.

Too bad they didn't think about what goes into pulling off a video shoot like that because those off road courses and how a vehicle goes through them is a very calculated process. With that comes a need to create obstacles it can go through. They could show us a Wrangler on a suspension stress test machine but what good is that, little marketing value to be found.

What I don't get is they are acting like its new information that Jeep drivers like to take things off road? I mean that's what these things are built for, so I don't get all the fuss about driving it in a man made environment, for the purpose of showcasing its capability. I thought the ad was spot on and I think Jeep should stick with this formula in the future.

It could just be the fact they want to keep it simple in order to appeal to the masses. Not always do they need to show something new.
