The patent is of course not marked "Wrangler JL", but what other vehicle would use such an apparatus...I think this is our best preview yet of the new JL power soft top.

I don't think this is power at all. There's no mention of motor assemblies, switches, solenoids, relays, etc. nor any indications of one being present in the diagrams.

Having it be powered wouldn't make much sense anyways. Jeep is better of saving that money and keeping it manual. Plus most owners won't mind. The Renegade crowd currently has it like that and I don't see them complaining.
