Premium Soft top 2020 JL

Hey all! I just picked up my new HellaYella JL a couple weeks ago from the dealership after special ordering it in July! I had some questions about the premium soft top however.. there seems to be a gap in the fabrics in the rear section of the side panels. There is a piece of fabric that seems like it should go on the inside, but I can easily stick my finger underneath the outside of the panel and into the inside. How will this work if it is raining? Or even slightly windy / while driving at highway speeds? I would almost assume that rain / snow, or whatever else it may be would be able to get underneath the top and into the cabin area. Also, how will this work during cold Any advice? I have attached a couple of photos for locational awareness..
