Whatsup fellas, just checking-in.

Going to be moving up north a bit from where I am now and it's more land and cottage/water front areas. To be completely honest, I'm just using that as an excuse to get a Wrangler because I want one. But it will provide a lot of aid in the winter, much better than my crappy TL that's been long overdue and has over-stayed its stay lol.

I'm an internet hound so you can expect some posts from me from what I find, I like searching around for new information and parts and what not. Can't wait to get my hands on one and start modding the **** out of it :wink2:

welcome to the forum! You never need and excuse to go for a wrangler, but we're all stoked alongside you!

Thanks for the warm welcome :) Apparently my wife has the opposite thought to that. But hopefully this one will stick long enough for me to get the JL in September-ish time ?

Only excuses needed are those that will get you away from your current wrangler and into a newer one ;)

I'm sure you can make a lot of excuses for that one !

"The tires are looking quite close to 50%... instead of buying a new set... why not a new Wrangler?! They come with new tires!" :wink2:
The JL Wrangler is expected to arrive in the second half of next year, so hopefully some time in the summer, but that's a six month window Jeep gave themselves. hoep your TL will last until then.
They got a lot of stuff to move anyhow and they're using that time very wisely. But how much miles you got on that TL ? Trans didn't blow up yet ?!

Well that's a small issue, I wouldn't mind spending the coin required to get a new or used set of tires.

A bigger pull factor would be aggressive model clear out pricing combined with boredom of what I currently own and the need for various maintenance and wear/tear to look after.
It was supposed to be humorous lol..

I definitely did the trans on the TL already though unfortunately, POS common issues and pretty pricey to fix. Never buying one again and I swear I can feel it kicking again :|
Yup sometimes its just not worth keeping around if the cost to fix is well beyond the threshold of what factors into a sound decision. Usually if your not a mechanic that can work on it yourself for cheap, there's little to no hope.
Even for a mechanic, sometimes the price of parts and the time required to fix everything is just a tad too overwhelming. Time is a key thing when it comes to these repairs and sometimes guys just don't have it.
