Tire Carrier capacity?

I have a 2020 JLUR:
It has the stock 33's on it and I will eventually go to 35's.

Is the stock tailgate mounted tire carrier, strong enough to hold the 35's without any mods?
I'm asking because my tailgate got hit in a parking lot and insurance is paying for a whole new one.
If I need to do any upgrades, this would be a good time

Please advise.

i say now is the time to upgrade.
Besides the extra weight you will also run into clearance between bottom of tire and the bumper. So don’t forget that as well
