My JL-Rubicon is 6 months old now and I want to wax it.

Can anyone recommend a wax that-
1- Protects the paint from off-road pin striping.
2- Won't leave white residue on the black fender flares.
3- Won't hurt the Rubicon decal on the hood.

I use just turtle black kit.

DON'T Wax your Jeep!! Use a polish. A polish will fill all the mico-divits naturally found in automotive paint. A polish will leave you with a slick, protective finish. Wax will not. Best I've used is Duragloss 101. Spread it out. Let it dry to a powder like consistency. Easily wipes off. Second wipe down will make the finish look deep (wet look). Use it on your glass too. Super shine. Super protection. Street use needs only twice a year. Off road use more often.

Few more things. All waxes/polishes will leave a residue on vinyl like fender flares. Use the Duragloss right over decals and the toothbrush the edges for a professional look.
