Now that the configurator is out and live I figured we should have a thread solely dedicated to color options. Everyone has an opinion on certain colors which can result in a lengthy thread and even inspire thought for future colors. To start i will share my favorite so far and that is Mojito:

Sadly, the new Wrangler is lacking that deep green paint option I was hoping to see and the three alternatives I can see myself leaning towards are Mojito, Punk'n Metallic and red. If they release a darker green later on, I will definitely spring for that.

How did you get that red dash trim? I couldn't find it on the build page for some reason.

If I can get them to provide a black soft top and black interior with the Mojito green, I will go that route. Interestingly enough, the configuration tool allows for green with black / black. But when you get farther along it conflicts with some setting requiring Tan instead of black.

For this much cash, I'm not too inclined to vary much from my desire for a two-door Rubicon soft top, steel bumper package etc... We'll see, the paint won't be available for awhile I guess.

I'm pining for the Punkn 2 door Rubicon, but don't like the forced tan leather in the configuration.

Good thing I'm waiting for the JT before I pull the trigger.

Funny you post that because if we get enough carbon fiber parts from Mopar and aftermarket parts makers then I might just consider getting this. The fact it will blend in well with Carbon Fiber is a big selling point to me. If I do that, then also laying matte film over the grey will be a consideration as well.

Always liked those more subtle colors but ultimately i was hoping to see more uncommon or stand out colors. do you see yourself sticking with colors like that in the future or plan to make a move entirely different from this?

I love the color, no plans for a chance. I've never been a fan of bright or flashy. Had a patriot blue JKR and traded it after 1800 miles. That was really because it was a 2011 and I had to get a 2012 when the pentastar came into play. But that one was white and I liked it more than the flashy blue.

There is a paint color for everyone with all the new vibrant options that we've seen debut on the JL. One of my recent favorite colors was the Anvil from the JK.

Did you happen to notice that this is a JL forum not a JK forum? And I disagree. Although this is an ok color, it just disappears in the crowd. I like the brighter colors but then beauty 8s in the eye of the beholder.

I was going to order my Sport S in white, but kind of fell in love with the Hellayella Clear-Coat Exterior Paint, so that's what I ordered. I hope I still love it 10 years from now.

after getting it into the shop to get rid of the silver that comes with the Sahara I'm really happy. Custom headlights next!

Speaking about headlights, i'm eager to see someone make a drastic change to the JL's front end. Hopefully a tuner like Kahn design is up to task.
