Hi! I currently own a 2014 JK unlimited and love it to death, however, I’m hoping to downsize to the new JL 2 door. I’ve contacted 4 dealerships to ask when they will be available. All 4 said they’d find out and call me back. None have called me back. Anybody here know when they’ll be available?

The two doors were scheduled to go into production on Feb 12 but that has been pushed back to till mid-April. After that, allocation varies between dealerships so I really don't know when your local dealerships will start receiving them. It's pretty frustrating.

I don't know why they wouldn't launch at the same time. Are there really that many more 4 doors sold over the 2 door variant? And when you'll see them in dealerships will largely depend upon your location unfortunately.

Well that's a bummer. By the time they become available, every other car maker will be introducing their 2019 models.

Typical move by Jeep to bring a brand new model to market and not ensure the availability of all the different trims. I haven't seen any 2 door models at dealerships in my area either.

Hey as long as they can get their cash makers out in good volume i'm happy, it could translate to more Wrangler configurations sooner down the road. On the plus side we get to sit on the sidelines and see what issues to look out for in initial deliveries.

Well, I was so discouraged by the delay, I pulled the trigger on a 2018 JK Freedom Edition!
