Is it just me, or does anyone else here like the concept of Bestop's Trektop Pro? It seem to me to satisfy all the things the hardtop is missing, ie. side windows that open and close and are removable, as well as a removable rear glass. Plus a sharp "fastback" design. Sure would like to see it available as an optional top for the JL. And why not, doesn't Bestop already make the soft tops for the JK?

I've been trying to figure out what sunscreen could be used with this top, particularly the front area where when you fold it back for open air driving you've got that support bridge running from side to side. I'd like to install a Dirty Dog sunscreen in that area and leave it on full time. Hope that's doable, but can't find anything online about it. Maybe I'll call Dirty Dog next week...

The Dirty Dog sunscreens look pretty good. I kind of prefer just basking in the sun and having it right open. Tend to stick my hands out quite often lol. But I'm not too sure what the "hybrid" difference is within the Trektops

Bestop's Trektop Pro is certainly easy to remove and versatile but they may have patented the design so Jeep can't come out with their own unless they decided to have a partnership. I'm sure Bestop will come out with one for the JL.
