The new Wrangler officially launches in the UK tomorrow. Pricing will start from £44,495, which is roughly double what the US models starting MSRP is. The base model in the UK is the two door Sahara 2.2 MultiJet II 4X4 automatic that's powered by a 197hp diesel. It will be available in two trim levels from launch including Overland and Rubicon. That pricing is steep considering UK buyers could opt to spend a couple grand more for a Grand Cherokee and get a 250hp diesel.

I don't know about unmatched as there are similar offerings from both Suzuki and Toyota. Unfortunately those models have very restricted availability and that has allowed Jeep to remain very aggressive with their pricing strategy. This could change with the Bronco.

Now that it looks like the Bronco could be getting a 7 speed manual, I think this is an ever greater possibility. That's not to say that Ford products don't see their fair share of issues as well, but these latest issues we've seen on the JL are absurd.
